»»Overall Appearance: Caroline is five feet and five inches tall. She is petite with a slender build at about one-hundred-and-twenty pounds. She is fair-skinned and tends to burn easily. She has medium-length blond hair that’s naturally wavy, which she always straightens and styles to perfection. She’s a fan of make-up, but she likes to think she’s classy about it. She generally wears a bit of bronzer to give her face a little glow, eyeliner and mascara, a little bit of eye shadow, and lip gloss: subtle and chic. Caroline dresses in the latest fashion. She likes her clothing to be flattering, but not trashy. She’s not against wearing skimpier outfits if she has a good reason for it (manipulation, for instance), but it’s not her typical preference. Caroline has grown quite a bit since becoming a vampire. She's become far less self-centered, looking out for the safety of those around her, often putting others before herself. She's also become less judgmental than she once was. Now that she's been judged harshly for being what she is, she's less inclined to take others at face value and takes the time to get to know people and give them the benefit of the doubt. However, she's become less trusting since several attempts on her life have been made by people she never thought would hurt her.

Caroline always tries to keep things positive. She's always the one planning a party in the middle of an apocalypse to keep everyone's spirits up. She just wants everybody to be happy and healthy, so she often tries to be the peacekeeper of the mediator when she feels the need. She offers advice and tries to make people see situations from a few different angles to help them make a more informed decision. This advice is mostly unsolicited, but given with the best intentions. Caroline can be bossy, secretive, and stubborn, and she's a bit high maintenance in some respects. But, she has a good heart and she's highly protective of her loved ones.

Caroline Forbes was born to Liz and Bill Forbes on November 23rd, 1993. As a little girl she was raised alongside her best friends, Elena, Bonnie, Matt, and Tyler. They knew each other ever since childhood. Caroline was always closest with the two girls and being an only child she saw the two girls like her own sisters. They grew up inseperable and always there for each other. Caroline was always closest with her father when growing up, her mom would always be working and her dad just always had a better connection with her. He would always be there for her to give her advice. She had a close relationship with her father. Which left her bitter and upset when he left her mom for a man. Caroline didn't understand why and always blamed her mom for it and grew angry towards it, because that was the only way she could deal.

When High school came Caroline joined the cheerleading team along with her girls and they would constantly party and have fun. Until Elena's parents died. Care felt horrible for thinking it at the time but she was jealous of Elena and all the attention she was getting. Everyone always chose her over Caroline. When new boy Stefan Salvatore came to town and she chased after him he chose Elena. So she settled with Damon Salvatore, biggest mistake of her life. She learned about vampires from him and was compelled to be his little human fridge and entertainment. he would manipulate her and abuse her and constantly bring her down but she was convinced she loved him, mostly because she was desperate to keep his attention and she didn't have enough self-respect at the time to leave him.

But it all ended after he almost killed her and Elena helped her stay away from Damon. Of course he would still occasionally compel her to help him at times and do his dirty work but not as much. Caroline began to date Matt after a while, she won Miss Mystic Falls, and had Damon out of her life. She felt safe and nothing had ever been better. That was until that car crash happened that changed everything. She suffered from internal bleeding and almost died, so Damon gave her blood to heal her, she was stuck in the hospital and Katherine Pierce killed her turning her into a vampire confused and by herself.

The first day was rough, she didn't know what was going on until all the memories came back from the compulsion. Of everything Damon had done to her. She went to confront him and gave him a message from Katherine saying "game on." Damon had plans on killing Care, no one believed she would be able to survive being a vampire but thanks to Elena she is still alive. Stefan took it upon himself to help train Caroline and take care of her. Make sure she got the hang of things, the two became close friends and she felt indebted to him. She ended up breaking up with Matt to protect him as well.

Katherine took advantage of Caroline also, manipulating her until Caroline broke down to Elena about everything. Caroline's mom also found out she was a vampire until she compelled her to forget. Soon enough came the Masquerade ball where Tyler Lockwood became a werewolf. She felt bad for him, he was so alone and confused. Despite Damon's warning of not befriending him she still did and tried to help him. The two formed a connection and she began to fall for him, which was confusing considering those feelings for Matt was still there.

But when Tyler's little werewolf buddies found out that the Salvatore, well Damon specifically, killed one of their pack members, mason, they took Caroline and tortured her thinking she had something to do with the murder. She was about to be killed along with Stefan and Damon who had came to rescue her and Tyler just stood there about to let them die. She got angry and he left town without saying goodbye. While he was gone Caroline got back with Matt. He found out what she was and her mom found out. At first they weren't accepting but Caroline's mom learned to love her and accept her no matter what.

But one night caroline would never forget was the night of the sacrifice. Caroline was going to be used in the sacrifice until Damon came and let her free, she begged Damon to also bring Tyler. He did so and Tyler transformed and bit Damon. In order to save Damon's life Stefan offered himself over to Klaus. Caroline feels guilt about that choice and feels as if it is all her fault that it happened, but she never shared this feeling of guilt with anyone before.

They grew afraid of Elena's fate. She, along with Damon and Bonnie put a spell on her. She would forget all her memories. Inside it hurt Caroline, she felt as if she was losing her very own sister but she knew she couldn't be selfish with her best friend and had to keep her safe. Caroline didn't know where to go from there, she stayed in Mystic Falls to be with her mom and Bonnie while Damon kept an eye on Elena. She did keep in contact with Damon, to ask how Elena was doing and such. When she found out the news that Elena was turned into a vampire she went on the first flight to England immediatly to meet up with Damon and Elena. Just to check on the girl.

Caroline travelled with the two for a bit but began to feel like a third wheel so she went off on her own keeping in touch with her best friend. Now she is back in Mystic Falls 200 years later, so much has changed but so much haven't. She is staying with Damon, Elena, and Katherine at the boarding how and keeping an eye on the new doppleganger protecting her from the horrid fate that haunted the Petrova bloodline.

Caroline Forbes sat downstairs in the basement of the Salvatore boarding house. This place was exactly the same as she remembered it. Being downstairs alone at night gave her an eerie silence and made her shiver. It had an uneasy feel to the room. This was what her life had amounted to. Living alone, with no one to love. Actually that wasn't true. She got to live with the vampire bitch that turned her in the first place, her best friend who was married to the vampire who had used and abused her when she first turned. How lovely. she thought to herself with sarcasm. But she was simply just in a bad mood which made her overreact. Sure she wasn't crazy about Katherine but she had grown to tolerate her. And then Damon and her were kind of friends, at least that was what Caroline thought.

She shook her head. She missed her mom. There was so much she wanted to tell her. She wanted to apologize for all the times she bitched at her. But she couldn't because her mom was dead. She missed sweet Matt, the first guy who loved her. She missed Tyler, another one of her first loves as well. Someone who she could just sit with in silence and feel better just to have his arm around her. It had been a while since she was actually serious with someone. Sure she had a few dates but being with a human never worked, not unless they were accepting of bloodsucking demons and didn't mind being one for love. She sighed as she stood up and walked to the cooler where blood bags were stored.

She grabbed on and stabbed a hole into the bag using her straw as she began to sip it dry, the warm blood rushing down her throat. She walked upstairs. Damon and Elena were out somewhere doing something super romantic probably. And god knew where Katherine was. She sat on the couch upstairs and stared outside the window into the darkness. Into the forrest. It made her think of when Stefan was teaching her the basics. God, she missed Stefan as well. he was one of her close guy friends, like a brother to her. He always was looking out for her and now he was stuck with Klaus and it was her fault. If Damon had never tried saving her then he would have never been bit by Tyler. And if Damon had never been bit by Tyler then Stefan wouldn't have had to go to Klaus to negotiate. And if that hadn't occured then perhaps Stefan would still be there. Point was all this was her fault.

She finished the blood bag without even realizing she drank it. She stared at the empty bag that had some drops of blood still left on the plastic. She stared as she felt tears filling her eyes. Suddenly she heard footsteps. She looked up alarmed and stood up. "Hello?" Caroline called out nervously. She heard a bang and whipped her head around immediately. She grabbed the wooden stake she kept hidden from under the couch. "Show yourself." she called out trying to sound brave. She was over 200 years old! Why was the scared? She shook her head at herself, man was she pathetic.
